Shorthand Courses Via Correspondence
Learn Pitman Shorthand via Correspondence!
After teaching Shorthand in a class environment in Brisbane for two years, Elite EAs Principal, Tanya Battel, revised the Course material to enable Shorthand to be learned via correspondence. There are now 70 Students across Australia learning shorthand. Professions of Students are diverse, ages are diverse! The Correspondence Course adopts the same timeframes as the physical class environment. Course duration is approximately 22 weeks but this can be tailored to suit the individual and the individual's commitments. Recommended study time is 2 hours each week to learn the shorthand theory and a recommended practise of 30 minutes each day. Homework is completed by Students then scanned and emailed to Tanya. Turnaround time for marking is usually within 24 hours.
The Course material is easy to understand, extremely comprehensive and broken down into step by step Lessons. The Course material is "tailored" to suit individuals who are not able to attend classes due to remote locations or hectic schedules. The benefits of learning Pitman Shorthand via Correspondence means that Students are able to work at their own pace.
Learning shorthand via correspondence is supported by the fact Elite EA's Principal, Tanya Battel, is only a telephone call or email away to answer any queries you may have as you progress through the Course. Homework sheets can be scanned and emailed on a weekly basis, marked and returned within a matter of days.
So far, I have found the course material easy to follow. The way the lessons are written is very step-by-step and the information is reinforced as you continue through the book.
